Millions froze in horror at the radio announcement  - America was about to bomb Russia.  They clearly heard President Ronald Reagan say: " My fellow Americans, I am pleased to tell you I have signed legislation to outlaw Russia forever.  We begin bombing in five minutes."

President Reagan thought he was doing a sound check before taking part in an American radio show.  He did not realize his little "joke" had been picked up on audio tapes by radio stations across the country. emoticon

— the worlds greatest blunders

仕事 12:44 pm

last wednesday my boss had call me and our Nihongo coordinator for a quick meeting at around 9 AM. He had given us a new task… to make Promotional Video for our Training Program. Wow… we will gonna make a promotional video in a month! Kuso!  We are so great that from planning and designing a curriculum and implementing a training program.. we will be bringing up our expertise to a higher level… advertising! emoticon emoticon We were so shocked that our brains shuts down for a minute and we can see only blue screen in front of us.  Well this is our work… and boss is boss and we should follow what the boss said.. so here i am scouring the internet for help.  Luckily i’ve found one helpfule guide for making promotional video… It actually gives a good example of a successful video outline.  Maybe this might help you as it did with me.

    1. Give a small introduction or overview about the content of the Topic.
    2. Give the historyof the Topic.
    3. Give some action scenes of the Topic in progress.
    4. Give background information on the key people behind the Topic.
    5. Give statistics on success rate or achivements.
    6. Give action scenes of the key people at work or in action.
    7. End with a "wrap up" of the Topic.

for some guide questions this one is nice.

      1. What do you to say in the video?
      2. Who is your audience?
      3. Who do you want in the video?
      4. How long should it be?
      5. Who will narrate?
      6. Do you want to include interviews?
      7. Who will be interviewed?
      8. Have you selected background music?

hope it could help you too…emoticon
