it has been a month or two since my Dell Laptop broke. Thus every night is a boring situation for me. So what i did was to find some book to read. And luckily tetelskee lent me his book entitled "Stainless Longganisa" by BoB Ong. Bob Ong a Filipino writer who writes books that will gonna make you laugh and think at the same time. One of his famous books was ABNKKBSNPLAko!(Wow! I can read!)
Last night i was reading pages 69-75 before closing my eyes and fell into a deep sleep. After smiling a bit while reading his previous write-ups, i suddenly kept quite and thinking on what he says about the internet.
According to Bob Ong(translated from Tagalog), "the most beautiful aspect of the internet that he notice was those who make and use it. Human Being (TAO, Person, People)
Think of it: Who are you? Who’s the real you? Who is the YOU? If your arms get amputated because of accident well it would still be the same YOU, YOU who had no arms who is handicapped. But if all your body parts get separated, which part is YOU? The Head? The Body? or that with still lots of parts connected? What if none of your body parts were left?
Were YOU the part of your body when your still alive? Were YOU the part that can think? Were YOU always be the Head? That was Internet. We always think that we were talking. No faces, body, hand and feet at all. I can’t see YOU. YOU can’t see ME. Im the person whom you had manifested in your mind probably base on my characteristics and personality. Because you can communicate/talk to me, then Im a Person/Human Being/TAO."
It was so philosophical and that’s what i like in a book. After reading this write-ups and thinking for a while I’d realized that maybe sometimes or most of the time we forgot of who we are, the real US.
