The life support system for teenage car  crash  victim Kristine Bailer was turned off - on the orders of another girls’s parents.  The couples own daughter, Wendy Liby, was killed outright in the same accident in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  Kristine was critically  injured.  Officials confused the names of the two victims and mistakenly  called Kristine’s friend’s parents to ask for permission to switch off the life support system.  They gave it.
