mistakes are feedback on how wer are doing. winners make far more mistakes than losers. achievers make lots of failures that those quitters. that’s why they are winners and achievers. they are getting more feedback as they continue to ru more possibilities. the only trouble with losers and quitters is that they regard a mistake as such a big event while failing to recognise the positive side to making mistakes.
we learn far more from our losses thatn we do from our victories. when we lose, we contemplate, we analyse, we regroup, we make our lessons learned, we make action plans, and we plan new strategies. when we win, we simply celebrate, and learn very little. another reason to welcome our errors.
as Thomas Edison said, though he had failed so many times in his efforts to produce an electric light bulb, "I had not failed at all, but rather I had successfully found thousands of ways how NOT to make a light bulb.". the man who founded IBM, Thomas Watson, said "The way to succeed is to double your failure rate."
I’VE NEVER MADE ONE MISTAKE. BUT I’VE NEVER DONE ANYTHING EITHER."
mistakes are not really mistakes. they are part of the learning process. the shame is never in having failed, but the shame is only in not having tried.
be happy!
