losing hurts, but it hurts even more when you realize that you haven’t done your best. for things to get better, we have to get better. today will be much like yesterday unless we put in that effort, our best.

this got me thinking.
losing when you know you didn’t do your best does hurt. but it’s easier to accept, than when you know you did your best. because you’ve got no one to blame but yourself - it’s easier to just laugh it off and realize that you got your just desserts. unless of course, you find it hard to forgive yourself…
losing when you know you did your best, however. hurts more i think. it will get you thinking, either that life is unfair, or that you are lacking - that you aren’t cut out to be a winner…
but but but.
it doesn’t have to be that way.
we just had our JLPT exams 2 weeks ago right? for me, i know that i did my best (kinda), so whether i pass or not, i won’t really feel that bad. kase regardless of what the world (or japan) thinks, i know my nihongo level, and i’m happy with that.
so i guess in the end, it really depends on your mindset.
sorry napahaba, hahaha
