did you know that on the average we spend 2 hours/day with our cellular phones? others would spend as long as 10 hours! cellular phones now had a lot to offer to us and one of which was its very nice feature, the media. we were fond of playing games on our phones, downloading or even reading novels. thus many bookshops went out of business. another was that almost all of us isolate ourselves from others. especially when we are with our family at home, instead of having a chat with them we tend to stay in our room or in one corner busy tickling our phones. we even value those people we were texting rather than those who are near or around us… lovers would even make use of it as a measurement of how much each other care… they actually measure the response time of their partners to their text messages. have you notice that while your talking with someone on the chatroom, you make use of the text lingo? it is indeed an annoying one… well with the cellular phone i guess it’s understandable because you had a limited number of characters, but in a chatroom you can even type all the characters you want. the most alarming effect of the cellular phone was that instead of having a deep thoughts on things and have a time to think about it, we rather select from the choices and rapidly react on it. selection and rapid reaction are traits of a lazy dog. we just don’t think!
